Happy New Year.. Sucker

Well it's the new year. Actually we have about half an hour yet. If you're coming here to learn maybe why I haven't updated your beloved site in so long, you're in luck! Excuses time!
It really comes down to a matter of self discipline and my lethargy problems. Not being vigilant at all times really has its drawbacks. Needless to say, that's not much an excuse as far as excuses go, but it's the holiday times! Jeez gimme a break. Urb has a bunch of *cohesive* comics for me, and I've been.. planning on writing one myself... just haven't gotten around to it. Even with this week off from school before midterms.
So let's talk about other stuff. I've been playing a lot of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance lately, it's hard. I was jowels deep into it and my people still sucked. Then, a gift from above, the "bonus EXP"!! I did not find this hidden gem until circa chapter 16.
I'm at Scotty's house right now. We went and watched fireworks, albeit with much complaining about moving off the couch... then urb and me dashed back to the house afterwards and left them behind. Well no we got separated in the throbbing mob.
Now my head hurts from looking at this wicked bright screen, and drinking that god forsaken tap water here. Smartwater only. Well no not ONLY, but more than tap water.
It's gross. You'd only understand if you drank as much as I do, so don't bother trying.

Rise Against Our Nintendo Oppressors

Well, okay, they're not actually doing anything directly to us, but in a cosmic sense they are. Today would've been the SSBB release date, had it not been delayed. Well I'm just one sad hippo in a sea or... more sad hippos.
So I was playing Jetman on Facebook this morning, and since I'm really over-protective of my stuff, I use my spacebar instead of mouse. So something loaded on another page, and the mouse pointer came up! It distracted me! So I slammed the mouse away with my elbow, only to have it fly through the window. That wasn't good, as we are in the middle of a Blizzard. Actually the reason I'm typing this is because it's a snow day for us and I have nothing to do. I would've hung out with urb or Kimp today but the former has chores, and the latter feels like sleeping all day.
Poopy. Well makes me a hungry ands ad hippo. At least I can play SSBM right? Yeah well that puts me in a sour mood. Damn those aging "grafficks".

It Is I! Clan!

Well hello! It's a-me! I have been playing a fair amount of Super Mario Galaxy of late. It's pretty fun. Also, for those of you who enjoy SSBM, stop by smashwiki.com. It has a huge amount of information, techniques, and other mumbo jumbo that I've never heard of before now, and quite frankly got by fine without knowing it. SHFFLing? What the heck is that and what does it stand for?! Also, my super crappy internet keeps on dying on me. My brother's internet, which is our neighbor's unprotected linksys, is faster than my DSL. I doubt they know how to ward against his little (com)puter though so whatever.
Okaaaay that's all I have to say! Thanksgiving break is always sort of slow! Daft Punk's new album comes out tonight! Yaaaaay.

Urgoogle Tube of Clan's

Here it is. Coooool.

I Could Give You the Code...

"For your player and you could put it on... but hey what are you doing? You can't do that. Tak about the three I think that Sonic's Up-B attack should be Tails. Capitolize Tails. Wait no the Swinging tails could hurt enemies no that's with a t and he could drop bombs line in tails' rpg. There's a Tails' RPG. Seriously. It's really hard I can't get past the first level. Heh. No it's 'heh'. >Nods head<. 'Nobs'?! What are you trying to pull? Work it, eat it, crunch it, bite it OHHH YEEEEAAAAHHHSSSHH." That's what's on urb's mind right now. He says not really.

The Highs and Also the Lows

Well, while in fact there are a few OUTRAGEOUS new events and going ons in my life, most of which do not concern you, so get your big wart ridden nose outta there! There are other things, however, that I will benevolently share with you at this time, if you care to listen.
First off, things have been going very smoothly with my special person.
Secondly, I have been playing SSBM because I figure that I probably will not play it much after Brawl comes out, so I have to get in my chops while I can. Lately I have been playing Link, and a few other characters less intensively. It's not like I play any big tournaments or anything (we don't have any around here to my knowledge...) but it is nice to be able to cream which ever of my friends I play, besides urb.
I decided that, finally, I was too old to trick or treat anymore, and it was kinda dull. Hardly anyone came to my house, so I passed the time reading the Odyssey, which in my opinion is sort of bland.
Thirdly, that is all I have to say. I had a metric ton of homework due today, that I did in school because I left my huge Chemistry book at school... it weighs upwards to nine pounds. I dislike dragging that waste of paper home.
Okay that is all I have to say, sorry that my life is not more entertaining to read about today.

Mad Propz to Modern Technology

Well I really have to hand it to those guys this time. Without the invention of the iPod, the computer, electicity, and Metroid Prime, I would not be having a good time right now. I am at Scotty's house, ignoring him while he plays Metriod Prime (the first one... he's behind). I am rocking the foundations of his house with such artists as a-ha, Daniel Kandi, Johnny Clegg, Goldfinger, Bowling For Soup, so on and so forth. Songs I deem worthy are randomly switched to periodically, then blasted out at my face through his tiny speakers.
I would be playing Warcraft right now, or maybe beating him and Yardi (they're both big into Magic: The Gathering, I am not) in SSBM, but alas.
Scotty's computer drive is busted and the both of them are losing to some bugs in MP.
Man I love good dance tunes. Even though headbanging hurts my neck.
I just helped Scotty through a particularly challenging section- jujmping a gap. Then doing a Triple spin and blowing over a building for a shiny little piece of orange crap.
Yay I love myself.
Okay back to the topicz of today!
Err... am I done? Yes I think so.

Blarhg is the Only Way to Put It

The title says it all. Really.
Needless to say, I really have nothing phenomenal to discuss with myself... it's been a very boring few weeks. Moreover I, unlike urb, dislike blogging at every small thing. Not that he's bad at it, quite the contrary, he's very good. At blogging about his days. But maybe MY days are too special for your eyes! Didn't think about that, eh?
Okay maybe not. Here's quick rundown of what's transpired, in case you're interested in reading about that kind of stuff:
A friend who I actually don't know in real life wants my cell phone number. Since I actually don't know him in real life, I do not plan on giving it to him, however nice and far away from me he may be.
That said, I am leading the charts with my tiny-bit-higher-than-50% win/lose Warcraft record. It rained today, I was supposed to play tennis but that got canceled, so I planned to go to my girlfriend's last away soccer game of the season, but my brother was arguing with my mom for a half hour. She's also a bit dysfunctional in general. I say that in the most endearing way possible, no doubt.
Yesterday I had some fun on my school's iMacs... man those things are cool! It makes me want to switch to mac. I am unsure, however, if they game as well as PCs. I do not think that they do. I am listening to "You've Got the City" by Alien#Six13. Great song. Do not be swayed away from it because of the band name. Now I've switched to Daft Punk. My mom walked in and told me that her guy-friend will not be taking her out to dinner because he went out to drink and now has to nap.
But WAIT! This is even more exciting, seriously! (But I don't know if you can possibly top that last paragraph). My dog walked into the corner of my computer-area and sniffed around where I stash my random crap and bags that and thrown around randomly!!
Good god I don't know anymore, the excitement is coming out of my face for sure.
I am not doing well in Chemistry. No big surprise there, it's a hard class. I can consittently get below class average though, that's a plus.
Now I've skipped past the song "Moan" by Trentmoller to listen to "Dela (I Know Why the Dog Howls at the Moon)" by Johnny Clegg & Savuka. I think I'm about to die.
This is more fun than the last time I got an A in a class. Actually the last time that happened it was relatively short-lived and dumbed down because of the mass of Fs on my report card.
I jest. I've never failed a class before. Last year I got my first ever C+ in Geometry. I don't terribly enjoy math. Everything else in high school and beyond has been As and Bs, I swear!
Okay I'm done. That was mildly fun for me to write, to tell the truth.
I just sent a Mr. T picture captioned "I Pity The Foo" to light on facebook.

Nothing Happening... Really

Okay so seriously. Nothing has happened. Otherwise, I would write about it.
Maybe. If you REALLY wanted me to. Otherwise, I'd just sit here and whine to myself. No!
I am in need of an audience!
So I played mao or however you spell it the other week... I can't talk about it, but it was pretty fun. A good way to waste my double free Wednesday block.
Lately, I have not drawn any new comics, but the other day in World History, urb came in and plopped one metric ton of paper in front of me... it broke the table and plowed a hole through the floor. No, that's an exaggeration, it was only five or so comics. Enough to last a few weeks.
What else is new? Yesterday I played tennis with my brother... it was... errrr... interesting. He cannot actually HIT the ball, which in tennis is a good skill to have. So he stepped in a swung randomly at it, and whacked himself in the face and ran home bleeding profusely. Kidding. urb just told me that the 4th of July is in June, his response to "Nothing Happens in June" by Ulrich Schnauss. I told him that it's the time urgoogle extremists revolt every year... against what we do not know. As long as we keep providing what do the have to be angry over? Grape's increasing hair length?
Okaaaaaaaay well untillll next time...

Is Sorry For Real?

Okay, first and foremost, for the several people who read my blog and check it daily, you have my deepest apologies for not writing for awhile. So to remedy that, I am posting today!
Woohoo! Spicy fries all around! They are a rare treat where I come from.
Alright, SO! Of late, I've been doing... not too much! I was sick at the beginning of the week, that's never fun. I always get sick twice a year, from summer to fall and from winter to spring. Odd coincidence? Nahh.
Despite my abnormally unhealthy state, I was able to function decently, excluding feeling brain dead during chemistry. Jeez that class is boring. All we do is take notes! I'm told that later in the year we will be detonating stuff...
I went over to urb's house yesterday, I made a file on his Drawn to Life game, with me as the main character! I guess, if you've been a long follower of urgoogle, you could call that a rendition of The Game of Freaky Scary 'Uns! For those of you who don't know, on one of my earliest comics, this game was featured floating around randomly in the panels. It was quite creepy. Not to mention random.
Of course, this little port cannot ACTUALLY be the real deal... clan was very badly pixelated, and kind of floated around, as his short stubby legs could not touch the bottom of the screen.
But fun nonetheless.
My brother got sick over the weekend, one of the side effects of having moldy dishes sitting around. KIDDING! GOT 'CHA!
Random people have been commenting on my blogs! As much as I love the attention, if it's not relevant, don't do it! Except for Andy she's always welcome :)

Clan's Thoughts: Adults and Games

Well, this is my time to debate my points of view.
See, at least where I'm from, like your mom could sit you down in front of a TV and is like, "Here watch this movie while I'm gone. But no comp time or video games. NOTHING!!"
Now if you are a person in this situation, I feel for you. If you are not, then consider yourself spared a horrible fate.
Now, oftentimes in my house this matter arises, and I ask myself WHY?!
The conclusions that I came to? First off, the adult needs to feel like she has some small amount of control over you, even when she's not there. Secondly, since that your parents are probably somewhere between 40 and 50 years of age, they didn't grow up on video games or computers and see no real value in them. But for some reason they do see value in a static, passive form of entertainment that you'll most likely forget in a day or so.
Video games, on the other hand, engross you and pull you into their world. At least good ones. Am I being overly-articulate here? Sorry. Just trying to get a point across.
So the next time that you are faced with a situation similar to the afore mentioned one I described, tell you parent(s) that they are not doing any good with their actions.
Okay, that's all I have to say.
No comment about urb's blog or Andy.

The Impossible Quiz is Not Real

I am quite bad at the Impossible Quiz. In fact, I got to the 95th question and lost. Who's ever lost on that one? Well one of my friends beat it, and all you get is a stupid trophy. Great prize for playing that addicting thing over and over again huh?
Well nothing else is new, I did play Super Mario 64 yesterday, I asked urb to quote my streams of thought, and he did an awful job. He misspelled everything and got it all wrong! After "the power of Christ compels you!!" Was supposed to be a witticism about Plutonium THEN the next quote.
He's really gotta get it right! That's like an elementary mistake right there!
They took off the proxy on this one comp in the comp lab, which is why I am able to type this today. I have no idea in the slightest how urb is able to do it, but it involves cows and treadmills... Faint evil laughter and mooing is heard daily from the basement of the school. This strangely is the time when urb disappears for a few hours.
Buuuut.. I bet it's sheer coincidence, he'd NEVER do something like that.
Okay tomorrow I'm being dragged to a fair and then I have to beat urb up in SSBM all afternoon. Seriously, after the first two or three hundred matches of me beating the blood out of his feet, it gets boring. That's when we switch to Halo or Mertroid.
And the pwning continues.

An Urb-Like Post

Today I am typing like my good buddy urb.
In his randomness he didn't talk about the horde of flying sharks that attacked us today, or about how Scotty violently died screaming about how his whiskers were being torn off. And we told him, "Well, you still look like a cat. Despite the bloody streaks and entrails hanging out of your abdomen."
That all goes to show how well we treat our brethren here. Say for example this place was like feudal China, like in that book we have to read for World History, we may prescribe to him some booze and hallucinates for his "sickness". After we found out for some reason in no way was his condition improving, we would move him into a "sick house", full other other dying cat people, where in which he would be treated fairly nicely until his eventual death.
In no way is any of that true, and I'm making generalizations about the Chinese, if you are Chinese or plan on becoming Chinese, pleas don't be offended by me.
Now then, on to happier topics of writes!
Today nothing at all important happened and it was 90 degrees and humid. Pretty awful. But as the banner art for this blog states, this is my area to whine as much as I want!
So it was too hot, and I was wearing long pants which didn't help THAT much, and my bag was heavy, and it was humid and my back hurt, and Scotty died in a freak accident, and urb followed me around blurting out Chuck Norris that I have long since stopped caring about, and what else...
Notice that I try to be a good little grammatically correct blogger with my spelling? But I don't capitalize urb's name? I doubt anyone's noticed. But in case you're wondering, the reason is that I only capitalize IMPORTANT stuff. Kidding! Urb is a very nice blob of green stuff!
I need to be funny to keep your attention right? Well I think that sucks, but I'll try despite your various shortcomings! We can't all be as awesome as me, I've learned by now!
Right now I'm listening to "You've Got the City" by Alien#Six13. Sounds techno-ish? Nahh, I'd call it "neo disco". Very nice song.

For the Sake of Consistency...

Well in order to be consistent with my posts, I have to post an article today, right? I am, after all, just another blogger in a sea of better blogs! Consistency is key to surviving! So, person who's reading this, what do you think so far? I'll keep trying to write deep, moving, philosophical pieces until I don't have an audience. Or rather, until I DO have an audience. Which means, tell your friends about me and my dark ways.
So today I was drawing a comic, and realized that I should probably leave the drawing to urb and Grape and maybe Light (even I haven't talked to him for a number of months now). I'll just stick to computer comics, and possibly sprite comics. It's not like I'm really great at drawing anyway, and I doubt my styles will be missed. I could do the dialog for other peoples' comics, that'd be fun.
On a different subject, one of my friends is looking into fan culture and their "odd" ways. He posted an opinionated comment on an MCR fansite about the fans. It stated plainly a person should not be shot down for his/her opinion about a band, if he wants to call it disturbing emo-goth, so be it. I have no beef against MCR, don't bother me about it. So in response to his comment, some girl left a post about his post, in the dialect he so despises.
Ironic.
Was this MCR girl, who called him an "r-tard" doing that to mock him, or is she just immersed in our suedo completely-cyber culture? I call it faux because our lives are not yet all computer based.
Not meaning that would necessarily be a bad thing, just saying. People would have less real lives then they already do. That's a scary thought.
Something else I was thinking about, when Generation Y is completely submerged into the parental generation, we'll have a much more tech-savvy, fun environment. I hope. Maybe they'll put an end to global warming so my generation doesn't have to?
Elektrik cars all the way!

Clan's Thoughts: Warcraft III and Cheating

Today I will be touching up on a fairly conversed subject: Maphacking and cheating in online games.
The most prominent I've noticed is of course Pokemon. I do not play Pokemon myself, and haven't for several years now, but when I went over to urb's house last and watched him play Battle Revolution for the Wii, I noticed that everyone on it had cheated their way to lv 100 critters. Including urb.
Bad urb!
That said, Pokemon I'd say, while being the most cheated on, is probably the least effective game to do so. You really can't play that it online without having loads of rare candy cheats, just because everyone else does to.
Now then, on to bigger and badder games.
Warcraft III is my game of choice, don't ask me why, it just is. I have taken measures in the past to ensure that games I host are cheater-free, but since the cheats are mostly undetectable it's hard. Whole games can get ruined by one lame little stupid maphacker with some dumb hack. I've seen some pretty bad ones too.
But anyways, I'm writing this party because I want to make a small impression on the hacking community but also because you idiots make the game not fun to play! If you scare people off, there wont be any games for you to hack! Take heed.
I know that of the less than 30 people who read this, most of you will comment something along the lines of "lol nub u r dum stfu r-tard". Well to those people, U SUK FATTIES. I don't use shorthands, so consider that a big offense!
Then there are like the two or three people who agree with me, and the others who don't care at all about some silly online game.
Those who are the later, would you stick up for your hobby if someone was stepping all over if with shoes that somehow hacked something precious to you??
Maybe that's too extreme. Maybe not. Go cry about it.

Prime Trilogy Comes to a Close

Today I finished Metroid Prime 3:Corruption. Yay for me. If you've been following urb's blog, then you'll know by now that I have a tendency to shout out random things at the the screen. For example, the other day I was very frustrated and called Bryyo the "Lame Balls Planet". Other beefs I had with the game:
-Looking for energy cells takes forever.
-The ending didn't make a ton of sense... I wont write a spoiler here though.
-The bosses didn't kill me once (the game is easy-peasy except on Hyper difficulty).
-Since each room loads individually, some doors don't open for like 30 seconds after you shoot them. NOT GOOD!
-Often times you're looking for an objective or whatever and eventually lose interest because you have no idea where it is.
My play time was 15 hours 31 minutes, with a 90% item find. Pretty good I'd say, for no guide book? Try and beat that! Yeah you know you wont be able to. Unless you're some some freaky person who plays games all day or goes for speed runs. I made a speed run once, it was Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I beat it in 9 hours 10 seconds with 17 hearts, can you beat THAT?! I play games for something to do during my nothing to do time.
Okay, I think I should probably talk about something else to avoid sounding hopelessly nerdy. My friend from college is visiting for Memorial weekend! We hung out today. She's cool.
Umm... My brothers are watching The First Knight and it looks like another Arthurian Saga rip off. AAAAGGHH I GOT MUD ON MY FACE okay it's gone now sorry about that. Can you tell I'm running out of things to talk about?
Never mind, I thought of something. I don't like weekends much. I assume that now the school year's starting up again that I'll need weekends, for a welcome break from my daily grind... but they are just so boring! It's like woohoo, I get to sit around my room for 2 days yay. During the summer it was worse. I need a new hobby. Well I don't care what you say, this is MY blog and I can be as blasphemous of discriminatory as I want!
So there.

A Waterfall of Clans

This is my first blog entry, and with it I am venturing into waters untouched by myself.
So assist me in my venture, already.
I think that on my blog, I will be posting everything from what I did today to my Thought Process. Do I sound eccentric yet? Well I'll try to keep things humorous to keep your train of thought focused solely on ME.
So today, as urb said in his blog, was our first day of school. Can you tell that we're not actually in college, as I said to arrogantly way back in the News section of urgoogle? I'm entering 4th grade and the rest of them are just starting preschool. You can tell I'm leaps and bounds ahead of them.
So do I sound full of myself yet? That's my goal.
Okaaaaayyy... I seriously didn't do anything important today. As urb said in his blog, I've been playing a lot of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, which sounds a ton more nerdy than it is. It's like Nintendo's response to Halo, even though Metroid came first. It'd be better than Halo I think if they had a multiplayer on it. You can reads urb's blog for what he has to say on it, here's the link: http://urb-urgooglesblog.blogspot.com/
I'm going to post stuff on this when I have nothing better to do, and maybe my amazing style of writing will attract more peoples' attention than urgoogle has so far. I leave it at "so far". How are we supposed to get even a tiny bit of attention nowadays with so many other webcomics online now? I've been putting less time into it as Grape and Light lose attention. Thankfully urb is so full of energy he like energizes the whole operation. His style of chunking out industrial-strength comics to fill in our drawing quota every week is great. As I've mentioned in the past, his handwriting is so big that I consistently edit it, oft replacing his text for mine (he hasn't complained yet!).
Which brings me to a new topic! Have I lost your interest yet?
My computer was purchased from dell back in 2003. At the time it was top-of-the-line, with a big super processor and 223gb hard drive. Now I've filled it mostly up, and since I really don't know much about websites and HTML and whatnot, I have to rely on my web guru to make sure everything runs smoothly. I have not seen my web guru in over a year.
So are things falling apart? Naaaahhh... I still update at least once a week, most of the time. My comp has been running slower and slower with the growing pile of material online now, along with my super crappy internet means at least a minute of load time when I open a page.
PAIN!!
No, now I'm whining again. I do that a lot.
Well, I've burnt up a good half hour writing this... time for me to leave you!
